With Katharina's help, I just completed my first "house project!" Always in the interest of finding ways to save money, we took our 30 year old dresser and refinished it for our soon to be guest room. It came out pretty well! It cost a total of $50 for the new pulls and paint and took about 3 hours total to finish (not including drying time). Now all I need to complete my guest room is a headboard and two nightstands! I'm probably going to tag sale for those and refinish them as well. Bring on the big stuff! I'm ready!
